Do you have a chronic medical condition?
A ‘chronic medical condition’ is one that has been or is likely to be present for at least six months, including but not limited to asthma, cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, musculoskeletal conditions and stroke.

If you are unsure whether or not you are eligible, please consult with your GP prior to making an appointment at Appetite for Nutrition.

Full Fee Information

At Appetite for Nutrition we provide a mixed bill service, including bulk billing (Enhanced Primary Care & Department of Veteran’s Affairs), claim through private health insurance and private fees to all other patients.

Duration of all consultations is 30minutes.

Rebates and Bulk-Billing:

  • Medicare Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Program
    Bulk Billed (with gap payments at some locations) – requires GP referral
  • Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA)
    Appetite for nutrition is a provider for DVA
    Gold Card clients will not have to pay for consultations – requires GP referral
  • Private Health Insurance
    Appetite for Nutrition does not carry HICAP’s machine, therefore claiming will need to occur post fully-paid consultation.
    Costs may be claimable with private health insurance ‘extras’ cover – check with health fund to ensure eligible.
